ngl, Anthropic's move this time feels a bit rushed... Seems like OpenAI has been preparing behind the scenes for a while, and hiring IPO lawyers is just an official announcement? Both companies want to go public and cash out, so it doesn't really matter who goes first. Retail investors end up holding the bag anyway.

To be honest, Anthropic's move is quite smart, but I still think OpenAI will ring the bell first. After all, their funding scale and market hype are undeniable.

ngl, does Anthropic want to go public? OpenAI seems to have gotten cold feet, now they're starting to build up their legal team... Feels like it'll still take some time, there are still rounds of fundraising one after another.
