Longwang, Vida, Ray, and others have all locked their accounts, while the one who used to promote “ORD monthly returns of 30% as a stable investment” is still making a living off traffic.

This is a classic case of bad money driving out good.

In fact, it’s perfectly normal for quality content creators to make mistakes in trading decisions. As long as they don’t intentionally do harm and their words and actions are consistent, there’s really nothing to criticize. But the problem is, these are exactly the bloggers who care more about what others think; when they make a mistake, they either fall into the trap of trying to prove themselves or lose all motivation to share. On the other hand, those traffic-driven accounts with no real substance follow the “any publicity is good publicity” approach—after being criticized, they just keep posting as usual and don’t get bogged down at all.

Retail investors can’t tell whether a project is good or bad, nor can they judge the true level of a KOL. Public trading addresses used to be a way to filter people, but now with smart money tracking tools everywhere, public trading has too much impact on the traders themselves. Plus, some people deliberately manipulate narratives, linking public trading to “copy trading scams” or “buying with a small account and shilling with a big account,” so more and more leaders simply stop being transparent.

If you think about it, most content creators hope their skills are recognized. Those who never trade publicly and attack those who do are either just chasing traffic or muddling along.

This phenomenon is getting worse and worse, even though high-quality content should be the lifeblood of this space.
