Don't remind me again today

The Celestia ecosystem has encountered issues again.

The Astria Network, built on Celestia, has directly announced its closure, and their shared sequencer network has officially ceased operations. This happened quite suddenly—the mainnet of the project had only been running for about a year, and it actively pressed the pause button at block height 15,360,577.

Speaking of which, Astria's original vision was quite grand, aiming to provide decentralized ordering services for various Layer 2 networks. But the ideal is beautiful, while reality is harsh. The project has faced many setbacks, and the early EVM Rollup product Flame has already stopped development. Now, even the main project can't sustain itself, it seems that the shared sequencer track is much harder to navigate than expected.

This is likely a significant impact for projects relying on Astria services, and they will have to find new solutions.

Another dead project, the Celestia ecosystem really is kind of disappointing. Sigh, no matter how good the idea of a shared sequencer is, it’s useless. Flame is already gone, what can Astria hold on to? Should’ve seen this coming. Projects relying on it better hurry up and find alternatives, this loss is huge. If you ask me, this whole sector is just a trap.

Here it comes again, why is the Celestia ecosystem always falling apart? --- The path of shared sequencers really seems to be failing, nice words don't help at all. --- Closing down in just a year, where did the funding go? --- Astria has collapsed, who's going to take the blame for this? --- The ideal is beautiful but the reality is harsh, why is it always this way? --- Oh no, we're going to have to find a sequencer again, what a hassle. --- Celestia is struggling to hold things together, it's hard to understand. --- Now it's a mess, how difficult must it be for the projects relying on it? --- Alright, another failure case, noted.

Another project that started with a lot of hype but ended up as a failure. Why does the Celestia ecosystem only have such low-quality projects? They dare to boast about shared sequencers without even understanding the keywords, and less than a year later, they have to pack up and leave. It's hilarious. These things built on Celestia are really unreliable; it feels like building a house on the beach.

Another dream has shattered in the Celestia ecosystem. It seems that the shared sequencer route is indeed not sellable.

Another shattered dream story, the shared sequencer track really isn't viable.
