Don't remind me again today

Computing Power is, to put it plainly, the engine of the entire encryption world.

AI needs to run models, and on-chain applications need to process transactions; which one doesn't rely on it? The problem is that Computing Power resources are basically monopolized by giants - it's outrageously expensive, and ordinary developers can't even get close.

Recently, I saw a project working on the ComputeFi direction, and the idea is quite interesting. They want to integrate dispersed Computing Power so that more people can use it and afford it. It's no longer a game played behind closed doors by a few individuals, but rather a real way to make computing resources flow.

If this path is successful, the significance for the entire ecosystem may not be just about saving some money — but rather redefining who can participate in this game.

It's the same old story again, computing power democratization. The question is, will the giants allow it? ComputeFi sounds good, but can it outperform Nvidia? I do believe that small and medium developers are being choked. I'm just afraid it's another air project. Resources moving around? Let's first see if there's a real incentive mechanism.

It's another "breaking the monopoly" story [冷笑]. Data shows that the last project that talked like this had a liquidation rate close to 95% two years later. Computing Power is indeed valuable, but the real bottleneck has never been cost; it's about whether your project can make money. --- ComputeFi, right? It's interesting that in every bull run, there are people who want to disrupt a certain field, but once the bear market arrives, they disappear without a trace. --- Ironically, they now want to create a decentralized computing power market, but the competitive edge of the giants lies not in price, but in stability and trust, which cannot be solved with Tokens. --- Technically, there are indeed creative ideas, but commercially... I remain skeptical and suggest everyone check the historical death rates of such projects before entering the market. --- Wait, who can participate in this game has always been determined by capital; the flow of computing power cannot change that.

The idea of ComputeFi really hits the pain point; the democratization of Computing Power is truly a necessity. --- It's the same old story of monopolies from the giants, I'm tired of it. I hope this time it can really shake things up. --- It sounds good, but the key is still who will lead it; let's not end up with another new centralization. --- The integration of decentralized Computing Power is quite interesting. If it can achieve costs comparable to cloud services, developers will definitely flock in. --- ComputeFi? Sounds good, but can such a project survive a Bear Market? --- Finally, ordinary people can participate in infrastructure construction; this is what DeFi should be doing. --- Lowering prices is the first step; whether it can maintain stable supply is the real test. --- Here comes another savior project; I'm not so sure about it. --- If resource Liquidity is solved, the entire ecosystem's ceiling can increase several times.

The monopoly on Computing Power is indeed a tough issue. I have high hopes for the ComputeFi approach. If it can really break the deadlock, the ecological landscape will change.

ngl the compute monopoly's been a choke point for ages... but does computefi actually break it or just shuffle who's extracting rent? mempool's already brutal enough without another layer of intermediaries

It's just the same old story of monopoly by the giants. The key is when it can truly be broken. ComputeFi sounds good, but I'm afraid it's just another PPT project. This is what web3 should be doing, making Computing Power truly flow. Good words are nice, but the reality is what counts. The track is good, it just depends on who can really share the cake. Democratization of Computing Power? Is it a dream or can it really be achieved? However, resource flow is indeed a pain point, and we need to keep a close eye on it. Another BTC? Or can it really change the landscape?

The fact that Computing Power is being monopolized is really disgusting; Large Investors make money while small developers can't even get a sip of the soup. ComputeFi indeed has something, but I don't know if it can really be implemented.
