Bitcoin supporters launch boycott movement against JP Morgan

It has been revealed that five major organizations representing Cardano (Cardano/ADA) have submitted a joint proposal called the “Cardano Important Integration Budget” for community deliberation, aimed at further growth in 2026.

The proposal states, “To allocate 70,000,000 ADA from the Treasury to advance the integration of essential functions into the Cardano ecosystem by 2026.” The proposal itself was submitted on November 28, 2025, and is currently in a state where delegated representatives (DRep) and six members of the constitutional committee can review and vote on it. The deadline is set for December 31, 2025 (Epoch 604).

Texas purchases $5 million worth of Bitcoin

On November 26, it was revealed that the state of Texas, USA, had purchased approximately $5 million (about 780 million yen) worth of Bitcoin as part of its state treasury reserves.

The state is investing in Bitcoin through a BTC spot ETF from a major asset management company, making it the first case of an official Bitcoin acquisition by a state government in the United States.

Release of SHIB-themed mini app

Shiba Inu (SHIB) announced on November 26 that it will launch a limited mini-application themed around SHIB in partnership with the no-code AI platform “TokenPlay AI” that allows users to create mini-apps (mini-games).

TokenPlay AI is a platform developed by the project “Astra Nova”, which is building a game ecosystem utilizing artificial general intelligence (AGI). It is reported that creators can use this service to build Web3 mini-games and applications without the need for coding.

The Financial Services Agency to unify the regulation system for crypto assets under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act

On November 26, the Financial Services Agency's Financial System Council Working Group (WG) compiled a draft report concerning the review of the regulatory framework for crypto assets.

As the use of cryptocurrencies expands into speculation and investment, the Financial Services Agency has indicated its intention to strengthen user protection by shifting the legal basis for regulation from the Payment Services Act to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (FIEA), and unifying the rules.

The Financial Services Agency plans to intensify the legislative drafting process based on this draft report and is expected to submit amendments to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the Payment Services Act to the regular Diet session in 2026.

Arthur Hayes Predicts Bitcoin Will Reach $200,000 to $250,000 by Year-End

On November 27, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of the cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, expressed the view that Bitcoin could reach between $200,000 and $250,000 (approximately ¥31 million to ¥39 million) by the end of the year.

As a basis for such a bullish forecast, he stated regarding the decline in mid-November that “the adjustment is progressing at around $80,000 (approximately 12.5 million yen), and the market environment is improving due to the bottoming out of US dollar liquidity.”
