The cryptocurrency exchange Bitbank announced that it will start handling Cosmos (ATOM) as a new currency from May 13. It will support spot trading (exchange), sales, and lending services.

The service will be launched in phases, starting with the commencement of sending and receiving in the 10 o’clock hour, followed by the acceptance of limit orders in the new listing mode from 12 o’clock, and from 14 o’clock, market orders and sales orders will be possible.

The service also supports “lending cryptocurrency to increase it,” allowing for a one-year loan with a maximum annual rate of 5%. Furthermore, a limited-time campaign will be held from the start of handling until June 12, waiving the trading fees for ATOM/JPY.
