#GT #BTC #XRP #ETH #DOGE Confirmation of Warren Buffett's exit: Is Berkshire's stance towards Bitcoin evolving now?

Warren Buffett intends to step down, thereby ending decades of opposition to Bitcoin at Berkshire.
Greg Abel will take the lead, with potential changes in cryptocurrency exposure under his management.
Berkshire still owns shares in Nu Holdings, a company that provides cryptocurrency-related services.
Warren Buffett, the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, confirmed on May 3rd his intention to step down from his position, according to Yahoo Finance. This announcement came during the company's sixtieth annual shareholder meeting, marking a historic change in leadership. Buffett, who has led the company for more than six decades, revealed that Vice Chairman Greg Abel will take over as CEO by the end of the year.

Baffet stated that he may remain available to perform limited roles, but final decisions will be made by Apple. He also confirmed that he does not plan to sell his shares in the company as part of the transition.

The board transition process begins this week.
The board of directors was not fully aware of the leadership update before the announcement. According to Buffett, he was only informed by his two sons, Susie and Howard. The rest of the board members are scheduled to discuss the succession plan during a meeting on Sunday, May 4.

Greg Abel currently oversees Berkshire Hathaway's non-insurance operations and has been publicly identified as Buffett's potential successor since 2021. Despite not being notified in advance, Abel remains Buffett's top recommendation to take over as CEO.

This occasion provided Buffett with the opportunity to discuss trade-related issues. Open trade relations remain important amid the escalating tensions in U.S.-China relations during President Trump's administration, according to Warren Buffett during the event.

The United States should develop its foreign trade relations by expanding its global trade activities instead of using trade as a hostile tool. Although he did not express support for any specific policy, his comments came amid ongoing debate over tariffs and economic compliance 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️🚀💯🥰
