Gate News, April 5: Peter Schiff posted that over the past five years, Bitcoin’s price has risen only 12%. Over the same period, the Nasdaq index increased by 57.4%, the S&P 500 index rose 59.4%, gold rose 163%, and silver rose 181%, and he questioned Bitcoin’s long-term performance advantage. MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor responded, saying that the time frame is crucial; since August 2020, Bitcoin has been the best-performing mainstream asset with clear advantages. If you extend the time horizon, that gap will only grow larger.
