Gate News message, April 5, over the past two weeks, the number of vessels transiting through the Strait of Hormuz has been steadily increasing. Over the past week, traffic through the strait has gradually rebounded, and the seven-day rolling average for the period up to Friday has reached the highest level since the outbreak of war. More and more ships are crossing the strait, including some vessels with no clear links to Iran. Countries are negotiating with Tehran in an effort to get their ships to pass. In the past day’s transiting vessels, liquefied petroleum gas carriers have been dominant, including one bound for India, as well as other ships associated with Iran. Since Friday morning, a total of 13 vessels have transited, with 10 departing the Persian Gulf and 3 entering from international waters.
