Former a16z crypto investor and founder of the stablecoin clearinghouse Better Money, established by him, completes a $10 million seed round

Gate News message, March 31: Former a16z crypto investor Sam Broner announced that he and his college friend Adam Zuckerman co-founded The Better Money Company, and completed a $10 million seed round financing. a16z crypto led the round, with BoxGroup and Sunflower Capital participating, and angel investors including Circle co-founder Sean Neville and former Microsoft executive Charlie Songhurst also joined the investment. The company aims to build a stablecoin clearinghouse, offering customers low-cost exchange services for different USD-pegged tokens. Broner previously worked at a16z crypto for more than two years, focusing on investments in the stablecoin space. Zuckerman worked at the law firm Latham & Watkins, and later served as General Counsel at Eigen Labs. The two founded the company in November last year. It has already obtained commitment from several issuers, including Paxos, Stripe-backed Bridge, and MoonPay, and plans to support all tokens that comply with the Genius Act in accordance with the signed and effective requirements, but excluding USDT; its U.S. version USAT is not affected. The product has not yet been publicly launched, and it is expected to open to customers within the next few weeks.
