The Chinese version of Apple Intelligence was mistakenly launched and then withdrawn, with no official release schedule in the short term.

BlockBeatNews

According to 1M AI News monitoring, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said on X that Apple’s AI features, Apple Intelligence, were briefly opened in the China market this time due to a mistaken launch. Although the related features have been “ready for months,” Apple still has not received regulatory approval, and they have now been taken offline.

Based on screenshots posted by the leak account @L0vetodream, it shows that in the iPhone settings, the “Apple Intelligence and Siri” page appeared for a time. Mark Gurman also said that this mistaken launch is not related to the iOS 26.5 beta, and Apple has no plans for an official rollout in the near term.
