On March 29th, Polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal posted on X, stating that Polygon’s stablecoin transaction count reached a record high of 159.9 million last week. Concurrently, key metrics such as stablecoin transaction volume and active addresses on the Polygon chain have also seen a synchronized increase, indicating the formation of a “flywheel effect” in network growth. Furthermore, the Polygon PoS network has reached 100,000 checkpoints, signifying continuous expansion in network usage scale. Sandeep Nailwal added that amidst the resurgence of “crypto is dead” narratives, teams that persist in building often nurture valuable products during cycles, and that Polygon is accelerating the construction of the future of on-chain payments.
