The ruling party in Mongolia has selected a candidate for Prime Minister.

The reporter learned that the ruling party of Mongolia, the Mongolian People’s Party, held its third small Khural meeting on the 29th in Ulaanbaatar. The meeting decided to nominate the Chairman of the People’s Party and Chairman of the State Great Khural, N. Uchirle, as the candidate for Prime Minister of Mongolia. N. Uchirle graduated from Ikh Zasag University in Mongolia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws degree; he joined the Mongolian People’s Party in 2009 and subsequently pursued master’s and doctoral degrees in the UK, Mongolia, and Russia, with a diverse background in law, history, and business administration. Since 2016, he has been elected as a member of the State Great Khural three times and has served as the Minister of Digital Development and Communications, Director of the Government Office, and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development. He has served as the Chairman of the State Great Khural and Chairman of the Mongolian People’s Party since November 2025. (CCTV News)
