On March 29, People’s Financial News reported that, according to the China National Nuclear Corporation’s China Institute of Atomic Energy Research, the country’s first commercial 2×6MV (12 megavolt) series accelerator has recently completed assembly and cold testing at the Accelerator R&D Center of the Nuclear Physics Application Research Institute in Ruichang, Jiangxi. Key performance indicators have met design requirements, officially completing the production line, marking a significant progress in the localization of high-end scientific research equipment.
