Due to the conflict in the Middle East causing tight fuel supply and soaring prices, several airlines in Vietnam have announced plans to reduce the number of domestic and international flights starting in April, with some airlines cutting more than 50%. According to reports from Vietnamese media on the 28th, Vietnam Airlines announced that it will suspend seven domestic routes starting April 1, and will reduce the number of flights by 10% to 20% each month in the next quarter based on the increase in fuel prices. VietJet Air plans to cut approximately 18% of its total capacity in April, with domestic flights reduced by 22% and international flights reduced by 11%. Bamboo Airways plans to reduce its daily flight count from the current 36 flights to about 17 flights. (Xinhua News Agency)
