American golf legend Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident in Florida, but was not injured. However, he was arrested at the scene by police for refusing to take a urine test.

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed sadness over the incident. Woods publicly dated Trump’s ex-wife Vanessa last year, and Trump even offered his blessings at that time.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when Woods was driving an SUV in Jupiter Island. He crashed into the rear of a cleaning trailer while attempting to pass it, causing his vehicle to overturn. Woods climbed out of the vehicle on his own.

Police stated that Woods’ breathalyzer test results were negative. However, since he refused to take a urine test, it could not be confirmed whether drugs or substances were involved. Authorities charged him with two lesser offenses: driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs causing property damage, and refusing to take a lawful test.

This marks Woods’ third involvement in a car accident. He was arrested for DUI in 2017; the second incident occurred in February 2021 when he was driving at high speed on a coastal highway in Los Angeles, veering off the road, leading to multiple injuries to his leg and ankle, with a risk of amputation at one point.
