Odaily Planet Daily reported that a straw poll indicates that U.S. Vice President Vance has become the top choice for the Republican presidential candidate at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Among the more than 1,600 participants in the poll, about 53% selected Vance, while U.S. Secretary of State Rubio came in second with 35% of the votes. CPAC is an important annual gathering for Republican lawmakers, activists, and presidential contenders. This year’s CPAC was held in Grapevine, Texas, with attendees primarily from the Republican conservative camp. The annual straw poll at the conference is not a reliable predictor of final candidates. However, this vote reflects the current support tendencies of core supporters of Trump’s “Make America Great Again (MAGA)” movement. (Golden Ten)
