COFCO Coca-Cola Jilin Factory Awarded National Green Factory Title

Recently, the COFCO Coca-Cola plant in Jilin successfully won the national-level green factory title thanks to its outstanding performance in energy conservation, emission reduction, and green production. This honor is not only an authoritative recognition of the plant’s commitment to green manufacturing and environmental responsibility but also injects strong new vitality into the industrial green and low-carbon transformation of Jilin Province, becoming a vivid practical example of Jilin’s promotion of “green manufacturing.”

The COFCO Coca-Cola plant in Jilin was established in 2004 in the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 50,000 square meters and equipped with four modern production lines, with an annual production capacity of 540,000 tons. It fully meets the diverse beverage demands of the Jilin market and provides high-quality products to local consumers. Over the past twenty years since its establishment, the plant has consistently integrated the concept of green development into the entire process of corporate growth, incorporating low-carbon, circular, and sustainable principles into all aspects of production and operation, actively fulfilling its corporate responsibility of “being responsible, proactive, and caring,” and contributing to the synchronized development of ecological environment protection and high-quality industrial development in Jilin.

This recognition as a national-level green factory is the result of the plant’s years of dedication to environmental protection and continuous breakthroughs. Relying on a digital management platform, the plant has constructed an “intelligent defense line” throughout the entire production process. By introducing advanced production processes, optimizing production workflows, and upgrading energy-saving equipment, it continuously enhances energy utilization efficiency, achieving energy conservation, emission reduction, and quality improvement. The plant has also received multiple honors, including provincial and municipal-level outstanding enterprises in water conservation and energy saving, as well as the Jilin Province Green Factory title. Additionally, the plant extends its environmental responsibility to the entire product lifecycle, actively engaging in public welfare environmental projects such as “Sustainable Together” and “Earth Hour,” promoting the concept of green development. During the heavy rain and flood disaster in Jilin, it quickly activated the “Clean Water 24 Hours” rescue mechanism, delivering over 100,000 bottles of safe drinking water, fully safeguarding the drinking safety of people in disaster-affected areas and practicing corporate social responsibility through tangible actions.

The plant insists on deeply integrating party building with corporate development, guided by the “1234 Party Building Work Method,” strengthening the leading role of party building, and has been recognized as a five-star party building enterprise in Changchun City. With the empowerment of party building, the plant directly employs nearly a thousand employees and indirectly creates tens of thousands of jobs locally, effectively assisting in stabilizing employment and promoting people’s livelihoods. At the same time, it actively participates in rural revitalization, leveraging local resource advantages, and proactively fulfilling social responsibilities, demonstrating corporate responsibility in promoting local economic development and enhancing the well-being of the people.
