Qianwen AI Glasses Unveiled at AWE: Integrating AI into Users' Daily Lives

Wu Jianjun, head of Alibaba Qianwen’s consumer hardware product team, announced that the Qianwen AI Glass G1 is now on the market. It features top-tier hardware specifications and will soon incorporate more AI service capabilities, aiming to be “smart in answering, reliable in handling tasks, stylish in appearance, and powerful in functions.”

AWE is one of the world’s three major home appliance and consumer electronics exhibitions. At this year’s event, Qianwen AI Glasses attracted many visitors who queued up to try them out. The booth showcased multiple devices being worn in rotation, with many visitors starting by voice-activating the AI assistant, then trying features like taking photos, translation, and music playback. The glasses’ fashionable and everyday look also received positive feedback from attendees.

During the launch, Wu Jianjun stated that Qianwen AI Glasses aim to extend the Qianwen AI assistant from a mobile app into glasses that users wear daily, making AI more naturally integrated into everyday life. “We hope that through AI glasses, users can communicate with AI anytime they need, turning the glasses into a portable intelligent super assistant.”

For example, during travel, users can inquire about nearby attractions or buildings; at exhibitions or museums, they can learn the stories behind exhibits through dialogue; in daily life, they can use voice commands to take photos, record information, or search for data; and in cross-language communication scenarios, real-time translation makes conversations smoother, removing language barriers.

Currently, the Qianwen AI Glass G1 is available for purchase. It is equipped with the industry’s leading dual-chip, dual-system architecture. Additionally, it features 64GB of local storage, bone conduction microphones for precise sound pickup, and Super RAW low-light enhancement technology. Weighing around 41 grams, it supports voice assistants, photo recording, and information retrieval for “all-day online” scenarios. The right temple adopts an innovative “hot-swappable battery” design, enabling continuous power without interruption, significantly improving outdoor and long-term usage battery life.

By the end of this month, Qianwen AI Glasses will also introduce new features such as “AI services,” further expanding AI applications in daily life and service scenarios.
