UAE Air Defences Intercept 12 Missiles, 17 Drones 117 Injured In Attacks

UAE air defenses detected today (March 9, 2026) 15 ballistic missiles, of which 12 ballistic missiles were destroyed, while 3 ballistic missiles fell into the sea. Additionally, 18 drones were detected, of which 17 drones were intercepted, while 1 drone fell within the country’s territory.
Since the start of the blatant Iranian aggression, 253 ballistic missiles have been detected, of which 233 ballistic missiles were destroyed, while 18 of them fell into the sea, and 2 missiles fell on the country’s territory. Additionally, 1,440 Iranian drones were detected and 1,359 of them were intercepted, while 81 drones fell within the country’s territory, and 8 cruise missiles were also detected and destroyed.

These attacks resulted in 4 deaths of Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationalities, and 117 cases of minor injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, and Palestinian nationalities.
