XPeng Motors Launches Another Super Extended-Range Model, Rapidly Building a Highly Competitive “Super Extended-Range Product Matrix,” While Adding Vitality to the Growing Extended-Range Market.

On March 6, XPeng G6 Super Extended-Range officially launched. The 1704 Max version is priced at 186,800 yuan, with optional smart upgrade packages: add 12,000 yuan for UltraSE and 20,000 yuan for Ultra.

Once upon a time, there were voices in the market questioning whether extended-range technology was outdated, a compromise in the transition from fuel to new energy. However, the rapidly growing market demand has dispelled this view. Automakers are actively entering the extended-range market, accelerating technological iteration and gradually making extended-range a mainstream option.

XPeng Motors, always emphasizing technology-based development, is also speeding into the extended-range market with many innovative technologies. By the end of 2025, XPeng will officially launch a new generation of extended-range technology—Kunpeng Super Extended-Range. Subsequently, extended-range products equipped with this technology have been quickly implemented. Following the XPeng X9 Super Extended-Range, G7 Super Extended-Range, and XPeng P7+ Super Extended-Range, the XPeng G6 Super Extended-Range arrives as scheduled, quickly building a deep “Super Extended-Range Product Matrix” for XPeng Motors.

Since its launch, the XPeng G6 has gained recognition from over 180,000 owners worldwide. Building on its reputation and achievements, the G6 Super Extended-Range has fully listened to user feedback, with a comprehensive upgrade under the theme “Six-in-One, One-Step to Excellence,” aiming to make the popular model even more standout.

Specifically, the XPeng G6 Super Extended-Range features a 55.8kWh large battery and a 60L large fuel tank, achieving a 1704 km CLTC combined range and 430 km CLTC pure electric range. The vehicle is equipped with 800V+5C charging, allowing 10%–80% SOC in just 12 minutes, with a maximum charging boost of 314 km in 12 minutes, thoroughly solving user range anxiety across all scenarios.

Additionally, the G6 Super Extended-Range is equipped with ENC+RNC dual-source active noise reduction technology, paired with a super-quiet extended-range generator, creating a seamless extended-range experience and ensuring a quiet ride for long-distance travel.

XPeng’s leading intelligent technology also serves as a strong endorsement for the G6 Super Extended-Range, which has undergone dual intelligent evolution.

First, the G6 Super Extended-Range is the world’s first model under 200,000 yuan to feature the second-generation VLA. The Ultra and Ultra SE versions will receive the full second-generation VLA update in April, and the Max version will be upgraded with a distilled version in the second half of the year, with the second-generation VLA distillation exceeding expectations.

Second, the vehicle boasts the highest effective computing power in its class, reaching up to 2250 TOPS, providing strong computational support for advanced intelligent assisted driving. The Max version is equipped with one Turing AI chip, the Ultra SE with two, and the Ultra with three Turing AI chips. Different configurations meet all scene requirements, delivering a smooth intelligent travel experience.

In terms of handling, the G6 Super Extended-Range is standard with Taiji AI chassis, featuring front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, Taiji hydraulic bushing matrix, and intelligent variable damping shock absorbers, offering a premium feel. Complementing this, the vehicle also has five AI chassis capabilities, with wide perception, fast response, and upgradability. It can recognize objects up to 200 meters ahead, adjust up to 300 milliseconds in advance, and has self-learning ability, enabling the addition of new features within 21 days. It easily adapts to urban, rural, and highway conditions, meeting full-family driving needs.

The G6 Super Extended-Range also prioritizes safety. It uses a 12000T integrated aluminum die-cast body to ensure safety for all occupants. The 5C supercharging AI battery can withstand 10 rounds of gunfire without damage. The vehicle is equipped with 15 active safety features, including AEB active braking and AES active avoidance. Notably, its active safety system prevented over 90,000 potential accidents in 2025.

User feedback is reflected in the exterior upgrades, including petal-shaped five-spoke wheels and frameless rearview mirrors for a sleek, smooth look. An optional integrated black “Warrior” kit enhances both aesthetics and tech appeal. The interior uses eco-friendly materials and features a Galaxy Rhythm Array ambient lighting system for a healthier cabin environment. It also offers top-tier comfort features, such as a 2.12㎡ starry sky panoramic sunroof, and a 7.1.4 surround sound Xopera audio system with 18 high-end HI-FI speakers, delivering an immersive auditory experience for a truly engaging ride.
