From Surpassing Elon Musk in 2025 to Losing 17% of His Wealth in 2026... What's Happening to Larry Ellison's Fortune?

The net worth of American billionaire Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle, surpassed Elon Musk's wealth to become the richest person in the world briefly during 2025. However, this title didn't last long, and unlike Musk, who continues to increase his wealth in 2026, Ellison's fortune is declining.

Ellison has lost approximately $43.3 billion since the beginning of the year, reducing his wealth from $247.3 billion at the end of 2025 to about $204 billion currently, ranking him sixth globally.

📍 What is the reason for his wealth decline?
The main reason is the approximately 22% drop in Oracle's stock since the start of 2026, which directly impacted his wealth.

He also holds stakes in other companies that have experienced declines, including Tesla, whose stock has fallen about 9.7%, and Paramount Skydance, whose stock has decreased by about 10%.

Despite this decline, Ellison supports the acquisition deal of Paramount Skydance with Warner Bros. Discovery, and he has also invested in TikTok operations within the United States.
