Why is it difficult to make money in crypto investing? My view is very straightforward: the market itself is stuck in a vicious cycle. Small size, poor liquidity, and extremely uneven distribution of chips—these three issues compound, directly leading to price fluctuations that are easily manipulated by large funds. The result is that both retail investors and institutions flock in with the same mindset: to make quick money. Here’s a real issue worth considering: when large sums of money enter the market, even the smartest investors find it hard to completely avoid the traps set by market manipulators. So given all these uncertainties in the crypto world, why not consider allocating funds to US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, or A-shares? These markets are more mature, better regulated, and a bull market can also give you peace of mind with decent returns, with even lower risk levels. The next content will specifically analyze various manipulative tactics used by market players and real cases to help you identify those common pitfalls.

nah the liquidity problem thesis is actually peer-reviewed cope honestly... like yeah whales move markets but that's literally game theory optimal for any asset class worth analyzing. the real issue? most retail can't read orderbooks and expect number go up without doing the work 🤷

Honestly, the crypto world is just a game of cutting leeks. I'm already numb.

Basically, it's just the big players cutting the leeks; retail investors, no matter how smart, can't compete with those institutions.

*sigh* empirically speaking, this is just market structure 101... the data suggests crypto's lack of circuit breakers creates worse information asymmetry than traditional markets tbh
