#Strategy加码BTC配置 When I first got into the circle, my mind was full of dreams of doubling my money.

Every day, I checked the market charts, bragging to my family: "As long as I get in, I’ll make big money sooner or later!" I even dared to rent a nice apartment in the city center, daydreaming about saving enough to upgrade to a bigger house.

Then, the market gave me a harsh slap.

After rising for three or five days, it crashed back down. My principal was flowing out like a dam burst. On Christmas Day, I checked my account and saw the balance drop below 30,000. I sat there in the room, stunned. Takeout boxes scattered on the table, the fan spinning but unable to blow away the emptiness in my mind.

That’s when I finally understood: all those previous "wait a bit longer to break even" or "hold on a little more to double" were not about perseverance, but just self-deception. Every time I watched the charts or chased the pump, I was like adding fuel to a fire, only to be burned to a crisp without realizing it.

This was the most expensive lesson I learned:

**The cryptocurrency market is not a fairy tale.** No matter how wildly the numbers on your account jump, they are just symbols on a screen, not money in your pocket. "Breaking even" is often just psychological comfort you give yourself.

Since then, I changed my approach.

No longer chasing trends, no all-in bets, and no gambling on luck. Sometimes, the principal isn’t much, but the key is to stick to the bottom line — even if only a little remains in your position, it’s much better than being swept away by emotions and losing everything. I learned to look at long-term trends instead of short-term fluctuations of a few dozen percent day by day. The market is always there; you can’t rush it.

I also gradually understood that investing in mainstream coins like $BTC $ETH is less about getting rich overnight and more about testing your own cognition — whether you can control your desires, admit your ignorance, and stay rational during downturns.

This is more valuable than how much money you make.

Oh no, this is the so-called process of being taught a lesson by the market... I can imagine how it feels when it hits 30,000 yuan, it's numbingly intense. Really, checking the account on Christmas is the most heartbreaking, no amount of chicken soup can help. You’re so right, most people's "perseverance" is just self-deception, I've been there too. Now I finally understand that sticking to the bottom line is a hundred times better than chasing every rise and fall every day. Holding BTC long-term is much more reliable than short-term trading.

This story is really amazing. I've been played like that too, I understand the feeling on Christmas day. Now I realize that going all-in chasing the rise is just like jumping into a fire, there's no difference.

just like mile 20 in any marathon, these capitulation stories hit different. the real accumulation phase happens when everyone's sitting in their rooms feeling hollow. that's when the winners are quietly stacking btc on the weekly dca grind, not chasing pumps. the fundamentals never stopped building tho.

It's really true. The moment of 30,000 yuan must have been a deep lesson. I've also experienced similar despair. Waiting a bit longer to break even is truly poison—it's the highest form of self-deception.

Typical rookie awakening literature, but this time it really hits the mark. Going all-in has no winners, only a timeline for bankruptcy.

Haha, damn, isn't this my autobiography? Every word hits home. --- Really, I went through the same when I had 30,000 yuan. Looking back now, I guess I deserved to be educated. --- Exactly, watching the market itself is like poison; the more you watch, the more addicted you get. --- The harshest line is "The symbols on the screen are not the money in your pocket," luckily I didn't go all-in with my entire fortune. --- How long did it take for you to shift from chasing gains to holding long-term, brother? --- I'm now afraid I might start finding excuses to recover my losses again. How to break free? --- I've realized that, compared to making money, what's more important is being able to come out alive.
