#Strategy加码BTC配置 It's 3 a.m. and my phone keeps ringing. A friend over there is anxiously saying, "I opened a 20x position with 10,000 USDT, and it only dropped 5%, but my account was wiped out. What's going on?"

I looked at his trading record—he had almost all his funds invested, and he didn't even set a stop-loss. Many people make the same mistake, thinking that full position means they can withstand the risk. Actually, it's the opposite: improper full-position trading leads to faster and more complete liquidation.

**Why is full-position trading so prone to blowing up? The key isn't leverage, but position size.**

Specifically: with a 1,000 USDT account, using 900 USDT to open a 10x leverage position, a 5% adverse move will wipe it out. Conversely, using only 100 USDT to open the same 10x leverage position requires a 50% move to be liquidated. My friend put 95% of his money into one position—too heavy—so when the market moved, he had no way out.

**I’ve used this method for half a year without liquidation and doubled my funds.**

First rule: Keep each position within 20% of total funds. For example, with a 100,000 USDT account, invest at most 20,000 USDT at once. Even if you make a wrong call and set a 10% stop-loss, you only lose 2,000 USDT, preserving the capital for recovery.

Second rule: Limit single losses to no more than 3% of total funds. With 20,000 USDT at 10x leverage, set a 1.5% stop-loss, risking 300 USDT, which is 3% of total funds. A few mistakes won't hurt your core capital.

Third rule: Don’t open new positions without a trend, and don’t add to winners. Only enter when the trend is clear and key support/resistance levels are broken. Even in sideways markets, patience is key. When holding a position, avoid emotional chasing—discipline is your capital.

**What is the real purpose of full-position trading?**

It’s to leave room for market fluctuations—provided you trade lightly and strictly follow risk management. A follower once didn't do these things and kept getting liquidated every month. Later, he adjusted his approach, starting with 5,000 USDT, and in three months grew to 80,000 USDT. He told me, "Before, full position was like gambling; now I understand, full position is for safer living."

In this market, the competition isn't about who makes money faster, but who survives longer. Guess less, control your position more. Moving slowly is actually the shortcut.

I couldn't agree more. I was exposed like this before, and the 20% position rule must not be broken. Friends going all-in with 20x leverage is really asking for death. Dare to open with just 5% and lose it all? Risk control is the core of this game. Otherwise, no matter how much money you have, you're just giving it away to the market. This guy is right; surviving longer is way more rewarding than getting rich quickly.

20x leverage full position, this is not gambling it’s giving away wealth, no wonder it’s wiped out --- Damn, only 5% loss and it exploded? Your friend is really a warrior --- To be honest, people who haven't set stop-losses don't deserve to play with leverage --- Position management is always the first lesson, but unfortunately most people skip it --- What was that guy thinking, going all-in with 20x leverage? Is he trying to get rich overnight or go bankrupt? --- After watching, I really remember the rule of 20% position size --- Feels right, small continuous losses are better than a single liquidation --- The problem is everyone thinks they are the one who will survive the longest --- Uh, I need to carefully analyze the logic of this stop-loss --- Another story of "doubling in half a year," believe it or not --- Trying small positions to test the waters sounds simple, but can you really hold back when doing it? --- The phrase "obvious trend" sounds easy to say, but in reality --- The most important thing is discipline, but most people don't have it at all --- 20x leverage with a full position, this combo is definitely a suicide operation

Wow, 10,000 U with 20x leverage wiped out instantly, this guy is really a brave warrior. I totally understand the despair of checking your phone at 3 a.m., but honestly, going all-in is like gambling with your life. A 20% position + 3% stop-loss is indeed reliable; I do the same myself. Compared to those dreaming of getting rich overnight, I definitely live much more comfortably.

It's the same old story, full position is a suicidal trade, really. Just looking at that guy’s story makes me feel sad—he doesn’t even have a stop-loss and still dares to go 20x leverage. Isn’t that a gambler? Listen up everyone, position size is the key to survival; leverage is just a cover. This is exactly how I do it now: no single trade exceeds 20%, and losses are kept within 3%. Over half a year, I haven’t been liquidated and have been steadily growing. This is the way to live. That guy who went from $5,000 to $80,000 truly understood it. He used to chase desperately, but now his mindset is completely different. The market is always there, but if your account is gone, it’s really gone. No matter how explosive the market is, don’t go all-in. I’ve seen too many people lose everything overnight. Discipline is your capital—that’s exactly right.

Oh no, it's the same old story... I just can't understand when going all-in isn't just throwing away your money. Honestly, after reading this story, I was reminded of my past self—using 20x leverage with an all-in position, it's really just gambling... not much different. But that fan turning 5,000 yuan into 80,000 yuan—this story sounds a bit familiar.
