The US stock market is actually a tough nut for global investors.

Just think about it—over the past 30 years, the US stock market has been the world's most profitable machine. The S&P 500 has an average annual increase of 10%, and the Nasdaq has performed even better, with an average of 14% per year. In the past three years, the Nasdaq has surged by over 80%.

But this cake has almost been eaten by local American investors. Data shows that 82% of US stock holdings are held by Americans. For investors from other countries, wanting a piece of the pie? The procedures, certifications, and taxes make it much more difficult.

So many people are actually kept outside the door. Now, the barriers are gradually lowering, and fractional shares can be bought, which indeed presents a new opportunity for global investors.

82% of Americans eat cake. Here, the threshold has been so strict for so long, it's unbelievable. Can we finally buy it in small quantities now? It's finally getting interesting.

Is the threshold lowered again, another new wealth secret? Many people haven't even figured out the rules of the US stock market yet, and they're rushing in again.

I'm willing to join now that the threshold is lower, just worried that some restrictions might come again.

Americans have been playing this game for 30 years, and now they realize that investors around the world, isn't it a bit late? Fragmented shareholding sounds good, but the taxes are still a big challenge, and the real barriers haven't been lowered much.

Americans have truly made a killing this time, with 82% of holdings in their hands. On our side, just the tax issues alone can be a nightmare. It's good that fractional shares are now available for purchase, but is the threshold really that low? It still depends on how policies in various countries evolve. An 80% increase in the NASDAQ is indeed tempting, but risks must also be considered.
