Year-end gold remains strong. As of the morning trading session on December 27, London Gold is quoted at $4542.46, with a daily increase of nearly 1%, outperforming 60% for the year. The main contract of Shanghai Gold is at 1019.28 yuan, touching 1024 during the session, while retail gold prices firmly stay above 1400 yuan.

Entering next week (December 29 to January 4), gold is likely to continue this high-level oscillation, but caution is needed as the central price may gradually shift upward. The underlying game is quite clear—on one hand, PCE data performance is a key focus; if it leans dovish, it will boost gold prices. On the other hand, if geopolitical tensions escalate, it can also increase the safe-haven demand for precious metals. Conversely, from a technical perspective, the support levels at 4480 and 1010 are quite strong, making a downward break less likely.

Technically, the core volatility range for London Gold is anchored between $4480 and $4580 per ounce, corresponding to 1010-1035 yuan per gram in Shanghai Gold. To break upward, sufficient catalysts are needed, while downward adjustments are likely to be halted at support levels. In the medium to long term, this upward trend has not reversed.

If you want to participate, consider buying on dips near 4480, with a stop-loss set at 4465, and a target of 4580. Remember: precious metal trading involves risks, so be sure to conduct risk assessments before entering the market.

Gold's recent rally has definitely held strong, but I still think a correction at high levels is just a matter of time.

Gold is taking off again? These days, safe-haven assets are the real necessity. I feel like I can't even celebrate the New Year without some gold in hand.

Golden's another year of tricky moves; should have already outperformed? The question is, can it hold up?

actually, per my analysis of the support/resistance phylogenetics here... 4480 is taxonomically the correct entry point, statistically speaking. let me pull up my spreadsheet real quick tho—those PCE catalysts are making me nervous ngl

yo hold up... 4480 support holding this tight? transaction pattern suggests institutional accumulation before year-end, ngl the wallet clustering data screaming artificial floor maintenance here. based on historical data, whenever we see this kinda coordinated buying around technical levels, rugpull signatures typically follow within 2-3 weeks. just saying.

Gold is rising again; at the end of the year, it's really a rush of safe-haven buying.
