Speaking of the current development dilemma of AI, many people can feel the helplessness of being monopolized by big tech giants. Data privacy issues, algorithm opacity, centralized decision-making... These pain points have given rise to a new idea—can the decentralized nature of blockchain be used to reshape the infrastructure of AI?
0G (Zero Gravity) was born in this context. The project targets the "AI + modular blockchain" track, more precisely, they are building a decentralized artificial intelligence operating system (dAIOS). It sounds grand, but in reality, they aim to solve a very specific problem: making AI transparent and verifiable, rather than a black box decision mechanism, ultimately turning AI into a true public good.
The team behind 0G is quite international. The project was co-founded by Michael Heinrich and Wu Ming, both of whom have impressive backgrounds. Michael is CEO and co-founder, born in Ukraine, raised in East Berlin, then moved to the United States, and is a Stanford scholar. His career spans Web2 startups, venture capital, and traditional finance, having worked at top global institutions like Microsoft, Bain, and Bridgewater. Interestingly, Michael has a strong interest in Chinese culture, practicing Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu for 16 years, and he says he can feel the flow of 【Qi】.
The technical leader is Dr. Wu Ming, serving as CTO and co-founder, and is the technical brain of the entire project. Wu Ming’s background is equally impressive—he is not only the founder of 0G but also the co-founder and technical lead of the high-performance public chain Conflux. This combination gives 0G a strong technical DNA.
Since its establishment in 2023, the project has been operating around a core mission: to redefine AI infrastructure through decentralization, providing a truly foundational support for AI applications in the Web3 era.

0G this idea is okay, but to be honest, I've heard a lot about decentralized AI. The key question is whether ordinary people can actually use it.
It seems Wu Ming has a solid background, and Conflux's technical accumulation is not just talk. The problem is whether the team can truly turn these many ideals into reality.
Michael's Tai Chi practice gives a sense of the flow of "Qi"... This guy definitely has a unique style, but can the project succeed based on this? Haha.
The hype is quite grand, but how exactly will it be monetized? It's probably just another fundraising story.
Let's wait and see the follow-up developments. If the dAIOS idea can be successfully implemented... it might be worth paying attention to.

Another story of AI decentralization, it sounds like a dream, but indeed someone is doing it.

Here we go again with the hype? dAIOS sounds impressive, but can it actually be implemented, buddy?

This CEO has been practicing Tai Chi for 16 years? Haha, feeling the flow of energy... How bored must this person be?
