#数字资产生态回暖 The meme coins have been hot in performance over the past week, with the top gainers almost entirely occupied by new tokens. Today's dark horse is $ICNT, which has surged over 45% in a single day, truly formidable.
Why did it surge so aggressively? The reason isn't complicated. Retail traders in the futures market are piling into short positions, causing the funding rate to remain negative for a long time. During such times, big players tend to go long with the trend, pushing the price higher while triggering more short positions. This is a classic tactic in the futures market.
Here's another detail: ICNT currently has no spot trading pairs, which means the market makers have greater control over the price. Without spot market constraints, price volatility will be more intense.
From the current situation, rushing in to short might carry significant risks. Instead of operating blindly, it’s better to wait until the trend becomes clearer before taking action. Keep your powder dry and wait for the real opportunity to appear.

actually... this is just pump mechanics 101 dressed up as analysis. no spot pair = literally zero price discovery, which means we're basically staring at a trust assumption that probably shouldn't exist in the first place. but sure, let's pretend centralized price action is somehow *trustworthy* here lol

A 45% increase? I really don't dare to touch coins without spot trading. Isn't this just a playground for the manipulators?

It's another coin without any spot holdings, I can see through this trick with my eyes closed.

Holding onto bullets is not a bad idea, but I still think coins without spot trading are too easy to be suppressed...
