7 Years in the Crypto Trenches — Blood, Sweat and Profits

Abstract generation in progress

I've been through hell and back in crypto these last seven years. And let me tell you straight up - what you make isn't fucking luck.

It's understanding the beast and having the balls to stay disciplined when everyone else is losing their minds.

My first 3 years? I watched over 100k vanish from my accounts. Not someone else's money - MY money. MY mistakes. MY pain.

Each loss felt like taking a hammer to my confidence. I questioned everything - my intelligence, my choices, my future. Some nights I'd stare at charts until my eyes bled, wondering if I was just another sucker born to lose.

But I didn't walk away. Call it stubbornness or madness, but I sat with my failures and dissected every goddamn trade like I was performing an autopsy on my own financial corpse.

Then something clicked. I clawed back what I'd lost. Then doubled it. Then more.

Same volatile market. Same trading tools. Just a completely rewired brain.

Here's the brutal reality most won't admit: the market repeats its patterns while 99% of traders repeat their mistakes.

🧠 90% chase whatever bullshit is trending on Twitter. They FOMO into pumps and panic sell the dips.

👀 9% blindly copy big accounts, praying someone else has the magic formula.

🔥 The 1%? We just follow moving averages - cold, calculating, and completely detached from the emotional rollercoaster.

How I Joined the 1%

Step 1: Moving Averages Are Your Family Now

I treat my MAs like doctors in the emergency room:

5-day: The first responder - quick, jumpy, catches immediate changes 30-day: The general practitioner - steady, reliable, filters out noise 60-day: The specialist - slow to move but speaks with authority

When the 5-day crosses above both the 30 and 60? That's my green light. When it drops below? I'm gone. No questions, no hesitation, no "but maybe this time..."

Step 2: Emotion Is Your Enemy

Write this down somewhere you'll see it:

"When MAs cross and recross chaotically, smart money sits out."

If those lines are tangling like headphones in your pocket, that's not a trade - it's gambling.

Real hunters wait patiently until all three MAs align in the same direction. Then they strike with conviction.

Step 3: Discipline Is Everything

Plans look pretty on paper, but your trembling finger hovering over the sell button is where fortunes are made or lost.

Most traders see one nasty candle and throw their strategy out the window. Don't be most traders.
