[Coin World] On June 26 (UTC+8), the world’s largest Web3 security company CertiK made its appearance at the Istanbul Blockchain Week (IBW 2025). Its Chief Business Officer Jason Jiang was invited to attend the DeFaiCon keynote forum to discuss the security challenges of AI agents and DeFAI. During the forum, Jason Jiang pointed out that while DeFAI has great prospects, the unpredictability of AI agents brings new Attack Surfaces. He emphasized: “Unlike smart contracts based on fixed logic, the decision-making process of AI agents is influenced by context, time, and even historical interactions. This unpredictability not only exacerbates risks but also creates opportunities for attackers.” He called for the industry to incorporate security into the development process of AI agents from the bottom-up design phase, stating, “Just as we audit the behavior logic of smart contracts, we should audit AI agents.”
IBW is one of the most influential Blockchain events in Europe, attracting a total of over 15,000 global developers, project parties, investors, and regulators. In 2025, with the Turkish Capital Markets Board (CMB) officially launching the issuance of Blockchain project licenses, the industry status of IBW will be further enhanced.
