Trump's White House meeting shows a strong interest in Crypto Assets, Pakistan plans to build Bitcoin reserves.

[Coin World] On June 19, U.S. President Donald Trump showed a keen interest in Crypto Assets during a White House lunch with Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir. According to a statement from the Pakistan military’s public relations department ISPR, the two sides discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation across various fields, including trade, economic development, mineral resources, artificial intelligence, energy, Crypto Assets, and emerging technologies. South Asia analyst Michael Kugelman stated that Trump has a “deep personal interest” in discussing Crypto Assets, and the U.S. and Pakistan have already collaborated on key minerals, Crypto Assets, and counterterrorism. Pakistan is considering several Crypto Assets development plans, including establishing Bitcoin reserves. Furthermore, Pakistan has pledged to provide 2000 megawatts of surplus power for Bitcoin Mining and artificial intelligence data centers.
