2月24日消息，以太坊基金会已正式启动其金库质押计划，首批约70,000枚ETH已进入质押状态，所产生的质押奖励将直接回流至基金会金库。这一举措与其此前公布的金库管理政策保持一致，标志着机构级以太坊原生质押策略进入实质执行阶段，也强化了长期资金可持续运作能力。
在技术架构方面，基金会选用了开源分布式签名器Dirk与验证协调软件Vouch组合方案。Dirk通过跨地域部署签名节点，降低单点故障风险并提升系统弹性；Vouch则支持多信标客户端与执行客户端混合配置，以缓解客户端集中度带来的潜在网络风险。同时，其验证者基础设施采用少数族裔客户端策略，并在多个司法辖区结合托管资源与自建硬件部署，提高去中心化程度与运行稳定性。
本次验证者统一使用类型2（0x02）提现凭证，具备更高灵活性。该凭证允许通过账户合并实现余额转移，从而简化签名密钥管理，并将每个验证者的最大有效余额提升至2048 ETH，使所需签名密钥数量大幅减少至约35个。此外，即便验证者离线，也可通过提现地址触发退出机制，增强运营安全冗余。值得关注的是，该系统选择本地构建区块，而非依赖提议者-构建者分离模式，进一步提升自主控制能力。
从行业层面来看，基金会直接参与以太坊共识层质押，不仅可获取以ETH计价的原生收益，用于支持生态发展与研究资助，也意味着其将同步承担质押运行中的摩擦成本、技术风险及运维复杂度。这种“自我验证、自我收益”的模式，为机构级以太坊质押、金库资产配置及链上收益管理提供了可参考范式，同时在验证者透明度和运营标准方面树立了新的标杆。未来数周，其余验证者节点预计将陆续完成部署。
