According to Gate.io News bot, as reported by Wu, Filecoin officially activated the new consensus mechanism Fast Finality (F3) on April 29, 2025, during the mainnet epoch 4920480 phase. This mechanism enhances the final confirmation speed of transactions by optimizing parameters and architecture. Filecoin plans to launch related APIs to support wallet, bridge, and exchange integration with F3.
