The Japanese Prime Minister held talks with the visiting South Korean President to discuss bilateral relations and other issues.
On August 23, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba held talks with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung to promote trust between Japan and South Korea, discuss economic, cultural cooperation, and security issues, strengthen Japan-U.S.-South Korea cooperation, and address population issues. After the meeting, both sides will jointly hold a press conference.
