Gate News 消息，3 月 10 日，英国 AI 算力基础设施公司 Nscale 宣布完成 20 亿美元 C 轮融资，估值 146 亿美元，公司称这是欧洲历史上规模最大的 C 轮。本轮由挪威能源集团 Aker ASA 和投资公司 8090 Industries 领投，Nvidia、Dell、Nokia、Citadel、Jane Street、Point72、Lenovo、Astra Capital Management 和 Linden Advisors 参投，高盛和摩根大通担任配售代理。本轮金额包含去年 10 月 4.33 亿美元的 pre-Series C SAFE。
Nscale 同时宣布三名新董事加入董事会：Meta 前首席运营官 Sheryl Sandberg（现为 Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners 联合创始人）、Meta 前全球事务总裁及英国前副首相 Nick Clegg（现为 Hiro Capital 普通合伙人），以及 Yahoo 前总裁 Susan Decker（现任 Berkshire Hathaway 等公司董事）。
Nscale 2024 年成立，在英国、美国、挪威、葡萄牙和冰岛运营数据中心，提供从 GPU 算力、网络到数据服务和编排软件的垂直整合 AI 基础设施。去年夏天与 Aker 和 OpenAI 合作在挪威北极圈附近建设 Stargate 品牌数据中心，去年 10 月与 Microsoft 达成价值 140 亿美元的扩展合作。
但融资消息发布同日，一项调查发现 Nscale 去年 1 月宣布的英国旗舰项目进展存疑。该项目位于伦敦北郊 Loughton，被定位为「英国最大主权 AI 数据中心」，是 Nscale 对英 25 亿美元投资承诺的一部分，原计划 2026 年第四季度投入运营。但记者今年 2 月实地走访时，该地块仍被一家脚手架公司用作堆场。Nscale 在媒体问询启动后才于 2 月底提交了规划申请，土地登记记录显示其尚未被登记为地块所有者。英国科学、创新与技术部表示，Nscale 25 亿美元的英国投资承诺「并非正式合同，而是投入资本的意向」，且政府「未在积极审计这些承诺」。Nscale 2025 年度财报已逾期未提交。
