Russian Deputy Prime Minister: If necessary, OPEC+ may adjust the decision to increase production in the future

Jinshi data news on March 7th, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak said on Friday that OPEC+ agreed to increase oil production starting from April, but may change the decision if the market becomes unbalanced. He said that Russia's oil production in February was lower than its quota with the OPEC+ group. The eight OPEC+ member countries held an online meeting on Monday local time and agreed to continue the production increase plan in April. According to Reuters' calculations, oil production will increase by 138,000 barrels per day. Novak told reporters that OPEC will continue the production increase plan in April, but may consider taking other measures later.
