Tim Beiko: Holesky will address the upgrade failure through slash, Sepolia upgrade time remains unchanged, Mainnet upgrade time is currently undetermined
Odaily Planet Daily News ETH Foundation protocol support person Tim Beiko updated information about Holesky Testnet Pectra upgrade failure on X. Beiko stated that a large-scale slash (penalty) will be carried out on the Holesky Testnet tonight to finally determine the correct blocks on the chain. The entire process may last for 2-3 weeks until the weight of validators subjected to slash drops to below 33% of the entire network. Beiko also mentioned that the upgrade time of Sepolia Testnet will not change, providing a longer testing period for the mainnet upgrade. The upcoming ACDC meeting next week will discuss issues related to the mainnet upgrade, but is unlikely to come up with a specific date.
