It is currently unclear what role Schulman will serve. Since Murati left OpenAI in September, she has remained tight-lipped about the new company. However, a source revealed that Murati has recruited more former OpenAI employees, including Christian Gibson, who worked on the OpenAI supercomputing team. In October, Murati negotiated a funding round of over $100 million for the new company.
