PANews reported on January 29th that Injective announced the addition of native high-performance EVM support to its Layer 1 blockchain, with initial testing starting from devnet deployment. It is reported that Injective's original software architecture itself does not support EVM code, but this new development will change that and introduce Decentralized applications compatible with the ETH network. The final Mainnet version is expected to be released later this year.
