Does Dogecoin appear in X Money's 2025 launch plan?

A source code leak has led to speculation that Elon Musk's X platform could soon launch its own payment system, called X Money. As rumors spread, they will grow, and here, the optimistic speculation or, in other words, the big question from the community is whether to integrate Dogecoin and Bitcoin or not? CEO X Linda Yaccarino first announced in a post on December 31 that the system will start operating in 2025. However, X did not specify whether the leaked code shared by researcher Aaron Perris of MacRumors is true or not.

The code contains a line that says, "X Money is not available in your state." This has led some people, such as businessman Alex Finn, to believe that the system could start in the United States without the approval of all 50 states.

Currently, X has a money transfer license in 39 states. When introduced, this feature will initially not include states such as New York, Hawaii, and Massachusetts, along with some other states. X Money aims to enable users to tip content creators on the platform. Speaking at X Spaces self-storage, Finn declared that 'X payments in one way or another will support cryptocurrency,' meaning that cryptocurrency could underpin its infrastructure. He pointed out that cryptocurrency is one of the fastest ways to send money, making it a smart choice for the system. Speculation about the integration of cryptocurrency stems from Musk's historical support for digital assets and his deep affection for Dogecoin, earning him the nickname Dogefather. Tesla, his electric car company, accepts Dogecoin for payment and holds $1.1 billion in Bitcoin, according to data from Arkham Intelligence. So, with this strong history, it's natural to ask whether DOGE will be part of the X Money system when it launches or not. Furthermore, if the rumors are true, X Money will be launched in 39 licensed states. Excluded states include Alaska, Delaware, Indiana, and Vermont, along with many other states. Finn pointed out that further regulatory approvals could delay nationwide deployment. However, while the leaked code has attracted attention, X has not yet confirmed its authenticity nor shared detailed information about the payment system's features. It is still unclear whether popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or even Dogecoin are included in the system or not. DYOR! #Write2Earn #Write&Earn $DOGE {spot}(DOGEUSDT)
