Russian natural gas transit through Ukraine to Europe protocol expires today

On December 31st, Jinshi Data News: The protocol for the transit of Russian natural gas through Ukraine to Europe officially expired today (31st). After Ukrainian President Zelensky recently stated that he would no longer extend the related protocol with Russia, Slovak Prime Minister Fico stated on the 27th that he would consider taking reciprocal measures, including stopping the supply of electricity to Ukraine. European think tank experts believe that this may lead to a rise in the cost of living and production in many European countries, which could change the attitude of the European people towards Ukraine. Currently, countries such as Slovakia and Hungary among the EU member states are particularly dependent on this gas pipeline.
