A US federal court ruled that Trump pay $5 million in damages in the writer Carroll defamation case

Golden Finance reported that the U.S. Federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on December 30th local time that U.S. President-elect Trump is responsible for and must pay $5 million in compensation to writer Carroll for defaming her after sexually assaulting her. The jury did not find Trump guilty of rape, but they awarded writer Carroll $2.02 million for the sexual assault and $2.98 million for defamation. (CCTV News)
