According to official sources, Riot Platforms, a BTC mining company listed on NASDAQ, announced that it plans to raise $525 million through the issuance of convertible preferred notes with an annual interest rate of 0.75%. These notes will be sold exclusively to qualified institutional buyers through a private sale. The size of this issuance is larger than the previously announced $500 million principal amount. It is expected to be completed on December 11, 2024, subject to customary closing conditions. Riot stated that it plans to use the net proceeds from this issuance to purchase additional BTC for general corporate purposes. Earlier, Riot announced plans for a private issuance of $500 million convertible preferred notes, primarily for Bitcoin acquisition and general corporate purposes.

Bank of America predicts that the pound is expected to pump in 2025, as the impact of the UK on Trump's trade tariff plan is relatively small, and its reliance on the service industry has protected itself, and the direction of Brexit under the leadership of the Labour Party government is not so hostile. However, the pound is still restricted by the strength of the US dollar after the US election, and the euro against the pound may fall in 2025.
