PANews reported on November 23 that according to CCTV News, a judge in New York, the United States, approved President-elect Trump’s request to withdraw his “hush money” criminal case on the same day, set December 2 as the deadline for Trump to submit a motion to revoke, and asked prosecutors to respond before December 9. It is reported that the sentencing date for Trump’s “hush money” case was originally scheduled for November 26. Manhattan District Attorney Bragg asked New York State Supreme Court Justice Juan Mercan earlier this week to consider postponing all proceedings in the case until the end of Trump’s presidency. Trump’s lawyers argue that the case will create a so-called “unconstitutional impediment” to Trump’s ability to govern and must be dropped. Manhattan District Attorney Bragg’s office said it would oppose the revocation but agreed that Trump should have time to present his case through a written motion.
