Elon Musk's AI company XAI moved into the old OpenAI headquarters building
BlockBeats news, on October 3rd, according to TechCrunch, xAI, an artificial intelligence startup under Musk, recently moved into a new office in the Mission District of San Francisco: in the same building as OpenAI's headquarters, which had been working here for many years. Musk's lawyer recently claimed in a lawsuit that he initially leased this office while working as an employee at OpenAI and has been paying for it since then. It is reported that Musk listed this building for sublease in August, and OpenAI moved to a new office just four blocks away. On Tuesday evening, xAI held an open house event at the new office, just a few hours after OpenAI's developer day event ended. xAI employees told a participant that they had just moved into this office on Monday, but they would still spend most of their time working at xAI's office in Palo Alto. Musk recently stated that he will relocate his companies from California to Texas, but xAI may be an exception.
