China-US Anti-Drug Cooperation Working Group Holds First Senior Officials Meeting

On July 31, the first high-level meeting of the China-US anti-drug cooperation working group was held in the United States, with a joint anti-drug delegation from various departments of China and the United States attending the meeting. During the meeting, the two sides briefed each other on the latest developments in the areas of substance control, case cooperation, technical exchanges, multilateral cooperation, and the cleaning of online advertising information, exchanged their respective concerns, and shared opinions and suggestions, clarifying the direction of cooperation. The two sides agreed to further strengthen dialogue and communication in the field of drug control on the basis of “mutual respect, management of differences, and mutually beneficial cooperation,” and to jointly promote the in-depth development of China-US anti-drug cooperation and work together to address global drug issues.
