BlockBeats News, on July 26th, according to CoinDesk, Steven Fulop, the mayor of Jersey City, New Jersey, announced that the city’s municipal pension fund will soon invest in BTC through ETFs. This move follows a similar decision made earlier this year by the Wisconsin Retirement Fund. Fulop said that this investment is expected to be completed “before the end of the summer.” Although Fulop did not specify the proportion of BTC ETF allocation in the pension fund assets, he said it would be “similar” to the 2% allocation of the Wisconsin Retirement Fund. Fulop did not disclose which BTC ETF Jersey City is considering for investment. Jersey City is the second-largest city in the state of New Jersey, second only to Newark, located in the northeast of New Jersey.
