Russian Permanent Mission to the EU: EU Sanctions Against Russia Will "Backfire"

On June 25, Jinshi Data reported that on June 24th local time, the Russian Permanent Mission to the EU issued a statement on the 14th round of EU sanctions against Russia that day. The statement said that regardless of the commercial interests and common sense of local economic operators, the 14th sanctions have obviously begun to hit their own economy. The statement pointed out that as the EU's sanctions consume more and more resources, the "overheating of sanctions" will get out of control and ultimately cause serious damage to the EU economy. The statement emphasized that the EU's current sanctions have exceeded the scope of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict.
