Heather ‘Razzlekhan’ Morgan Claims ‘Papa Trump’ Commuted Her Prison Sentence
In August 2023, Morgan and her husband, Ilya Lichtenstein, pleaded guilty to one of the largest heists in crypto history.
‘Papa Trump’ Intervened, Says Convicted Money Launderer Heather Morgan
The tweet was posted at 1:40 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2025. It reads, “Who’s ready for NEW Razzlekhan music?” Attached is what appears to be an album cover with an illustration of Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan in her signature pose; tongue out with hands performing a variation of the Star Wars “Vulcan Salute.”
Then on Sunday, Morgan posted a video of herself half naked in a bathtub thanking U.S. President Donald Trump for commuting her sentence, which if served in full, would have seen her remain in jail until August 2026.
“I want to give a shoutout to ‘Papa Trump’ for making my 18-month sentence shorter,” Morgan says in the clip. “Razzle f*cking dazzle, hello world, let’s have some fun and get weird.”
But did Morgan really get a commutation from the president? All evidence suggests that she did not. Protos reported that the 35-year-old had likely been transferred to a halfway house or was placed under home confinement. Indeed, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBP) currently shows her as still incarcerated until January 12, 2026.
Bitcoin.com reached out to Morgan’s legal team for clarification but it had not yet responded at the time of reporting.
Morgan, who also goes by the moniker “The Crocodile of Wall Street,” perhaps a nod to her predatory proclivities, helped her husband, Ilya Lichtenstein, launder nearly 120,000 bitcoin ( BTC), after he stole the funds from crypto exchange Bitfinex in 2016. Lichtenstein, now known as the Bitfinex hacker, is still serving his 5-year sentence for the crime.
The theft resulted in authorities conducting the largest crypto seizure in U.S. history, 119,754 BTC worth roughly $13 billion at today’s prices. Lichtenstein and Morgan even inspired a Netflix documentary, “The Biggest Heist Ever.” But in an interview with the New York Post, Morgan blasted the film and even sued Netflix for defamation, according to Decrypt.
“This was a media spectacle, but they were wrong about me,” Morgan said. “People act like I’m some evil villain bitch or some dumb trophy wife.”
